Cultural Treasures of Asia, 15 Nights and Where It Stops

This route covers Japan, Cambodia, China, Bhutan and India, running from Tokyo through Siem Reap, Lijiang, Paro, Jaipur and Agra to New Delhi. Stays include Aman Tokyo, Amansara, Amandayan, Amankora Paro and Amanbagh, closing at The Leela Palace, which is not an Aman property.

From Islands to Ancient Worlds, 17 Nights Across 8 Countries

The second route runs 2 nights longer and considerably wider, taking in Japan, the Philippines, Indonesia, the Maldives, the UAE, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Türkiye, from Kyoto through Pamalican Island, Yogyakarta, the Maldives, Dubai and Sveti Stefan to Istanbul.

Do the 2 New Routes Differ in Length or in Reach?

Both. The first stays inside Asia and goes deep into 5 countries over 15 nights, while the second spends 17 nights crossing 8 countries from Asia into Europe. Anyone who wants longer in each city should look at the first.

The Aircraft Is an ACJ319 Cut From 130 Seats Down to 19

Remote Lands states the aircraft is modified to 19 seats, against the 130 an Airbus A319 can normally hold. The space that frees up becomes 2 lounge areas, and guests skip the usual immigration queues at the terminal.

19 Seats but 16-18 Guests. Where Do the Rest Go?

The 2 figures do not contradict each other. 19 is the number of seats fitted to the aircraft, while 16-18 is the maximum number of guests sold per departure. The remaining seats belong to the staff who travel with the group throughout.

Per Night, the 2 New Routes Sit About USD 707 Apart

Cultural Treasures of Asia works out at roughly USD 10,993 a night, and From Islands to Ancient Worlds at roughly USD 11,699, a gap of about USD 707 a night even though the headline prices are USD 34,000 apart, because the dearer route also runs 2 nights longer.

Per-night figures calculated by the Tid Rhoo team, dividing the starting price per person by the published number of nights, with no allowance for extras.

What Is Being Sold Is the Passenger Count, Not the Country Count

What separates this from an ordinary luxury tour is not how many countries it reaches but the 111 seats taken out so that fewer than 20 people share the cabin. · If the cities on these routes interest you, read our Kyoto luxury hotel guide and The Blue Jasmine luxury train next, both closed-group journeys of the same kind.
