Transfer Limits on 11 Thai Banking Apps Run From THB 500,000 to THB 10 Million a Day
Daily Transfer Limits on 11 Thai Banking Apps, Which Mobile Banking Apps Can Actually Move Millions of Baht, and Why Your Own Limit May Be Lower
The highest daily transfer limit to another bank across 11 Thai banking apps ranges from THB 500,000 to THB 10,000,000. SCB EASY is highest at THB 10 million, followed by K PLUS and ttb touch at THB 5 million, while 6 apps stop at THB 2 million. These are app ceilings, not what every customer gets: since 2025, Thai banks have set a personal daily limit for each customer based on their profile.

Sorted by the other-bank ceiling, highest first. Figures as of 28 October 2026, compiled by the Luxe Addict team from the limit settings inside each bank's app.

Why Can't You Transfer Up to the Ceiling in the Table?
Because the table shows the most each app allows. The limit you can actually use is set for each customer by the bank.
Since 2025, the Bank of Thailand has had banks assign online customers a daily transfer limit by risk tier, with the lowest tier at THB 50,000 a day. Customers with an established record can keep transferring at their usual level, and SCB EASY says each customer's limit reflects income, transaction history and the products they hold.

To Your Own Account or to Someone Else, the Ceiling Can Differ 500 Times Over
Transfers into your own account at the same bank barely have a ceiling. 7 of the 11 apps set no limit or do not count them, and CIMB THAI allows THB 1 billion, 500 times its own ceiling for transfers to another bank.
The sharpest gaps are at K PLUS, which allows THB 30 million to your own account but THB 5 million to anyone else, and MyMo, which allows THB 5 million to someone else at the same bank but THB 2 million once the money leaves for another bank.

What Makes SCB EASY Different?
SCB EASY is the only one of the 11 apps with the same THB 10 million ceiling across all 3 transfer types, so paying someone else carries the same limit as moving money between your own accounts.
Transfers to your own SCB account and payments into SCB loan and investment accounts are not counted toward the customer-profile daily limit.

How Many Days Each App Needs to Send THB 10 Million to Another Bank
The team worked it out from the other-bank ceiling, assuming the account limit is already set to the maximum:
| Daily ceiling to another bank | App | Days to send THB 10 million |
|---|---|---|
| THB 10,000,000 | SCB EASY | 1 day |
| THB 5,000,000 | K PLUS · ttb touch | 2 days |
| THB 2,000,000 | MyMo · Krungthai NEXT · Bangkok Bank · krungsri app · CIMB THAI · LHB You | 5 days |
| THB 1,000,000 | UOB TMRW | 10 days |
| THB 500,000 | TISCO My Wealth | 20 days |

How Should You Plan a Large Payment on a THB 2 Million App?
6 of the apps cap transfers to another bank at THB 2 million: MyMo, Krungthai NEXT, Bangkok Bank, krungsri app, CIMB THAI and LHB You, more than half of the total.
Anyone on these apps with a large payment coming up, such as a condo or car deposit, should check the limit in their own app before the payment date, because anything above it has to be split across days.
When Does a Large Transfer Need a Face Scan?
Transfers to someone else above THB 50,000 in one go, or above THB 200,000 in a day, require a face scan, and Bangkok Bank lets customers set the per-transfer trigger anywhere from THB 5,000 to THB 50,000.
That means every transfer in the millions goes through a face scan, however high the account limit is.

If Your Profile Limit Is Too Low, How Do You Raise It?
The process differs by bank. On SCB EASY, go to Settings, choose Change Limit, and upload 2 of 4 income documents, a payslip, a salary certificate, a bank statement or an annual tax document. SCB replies within 24 hours.
Customers aged 65 and over need to call the call centre, and anything above the app limit can still be done at a branch, ATM or cash deposit machine.

The Luxe Addict Take: The Ceiling Alone Is Not Enough to Choose an App
The table only shows which app leaves the most room. The limit you can use depends on your own history and income documents, and people with clear income who use the account regularly find a higher limit easier to get.
For anyone who pays for large purchases often, keeping 1 account on a high-ceiling app and submitting income documents ahead of time is easier than splitting a payment across days when it is due.
Who Should Check Their Limit Now?
Anyone paying a deposit on a home, a car or a high-value collectible this month should open the limit menu in their app first, because raising the limit can take up to 7 business days at some banks.
