Real-Gem Infinity Gauntlet Heads to Julien's in Abu Dhabi With a Reported $25 Million Start

The Real-Gem Infinity Gauntlet, a One-of-One Built From Marvel's Design Files With 6 Natural Stones, Where Its Reported $25 Million Start Comes From and Who Is Allowed to Bid

This Infinity Gauntlet is a one-of-one version of Thanos' glove, built from Marvel's design files by East Continental Gems, a New York family jeweller. Its 6 Infinity Stones are untreated natural gems totalling more than 170 carats. Julien's Auctions will offer it on 8 December 2026 at Rosewood Abu Dhabi, with a starting bid reported at USD 25 million, or about THB 843 million.

What It Is and Who Made It

The project began in 2019, when East Continental Gems CEO Adam Mirzoeff saw a toy Infinity Gauntlet on a senior Marvel executive's desk and joked that someone should make a real one.

Marvel opened the design files of the screen-used prop. The gauntlet itself was produced by collectibles maker Gentle Giant, with Los Angeles designer Darren Romanelli as creative director, and the finished piece debuted at the Marvel booth at San Diego Comic-Con in July 2022.

Where Does the Time Stone Emerald Come From?

It was first mined more than 100 years ago. East Continental Gems held it for over 30 years and turned down every offer for it until this project.

None of the 6 stones has been treated for colour or clarity, which Julien's Auctions says may never be repeated as a set.

How It Compares With Other Pop Culture Collectibles

Why Sell It Now?

The Luxe Addict Take on What the Price Buys

The 6 gems are the part of the price you can weigh. What cannot be bought anywhere else is the Marvel name, design files taken from the real prop, and being the only one in existence.

It was made as a sculpture on a display plinth, not to be worn, so the winner gets something to show at home rather than something to wear out.

Where Can You See It Without Buying It?

It tours Bahrain through November before moving to Rosewood Abu Dhabi for the sale, the 2 places announced so far to see it before it changes hands.

Who Should Watch This Sale?

Anyone who collects film pieces or large coloured stones. The result will set a new reference for how far a pop culture object made with real precious materials can go.
